Remember when Apple used to tell us that it was not safe to clean your iPhone's display? The company used to say it was unsafe to use disinfecting wipes or sprays because it might damage the the coating on the touchscreen displays. Apple's suggestion was to use a cloth dampened with water to clean their phones.
Those days are gone due to the Coronavirus outbreak. Apple has changed their guidelines and now say it is okay to use disinfecting wipes.
