Here's a new handheld that we know very little about. The PocketSurfer web site claims that this 640 pixel wide screen handheld can access the Internet, keeping web pages in their natural, native resolution. No word on specifications though.
Big screen. With 640-pixel-wide display you'll see the Web like it was supposed to be seen - no scrunching, reformatting or text-only sites.
Speed. The PocketSurferTM lets you retrieve more pages faster, similar to what you experience at home or in the office, and much faster than other mobile devices.
Full keyboard. With built-in mouse pointer. No triple-tapping on a numeric keypad to type in messages or fill in forms.
Slim case. Easily slips into your pocket with room to spare.
Convenience. It connects to the Web via your Bluetooth-capable wireless phones, or with an adapter for non-Bluetooth handsets. Simply connect and Ride the Web.
PocketSurfer will be available to retailers the third quarter of 2004. Pricing is expected to begin at $199.00 MSRP, plus an internet service access fee.
