The service could see many uses, but some of the proposed uses are for Taxi drivers or courriers. The software would help companies route the nearest driver for pick up.
Service companies could also see improved response times with the system if they are able to match service calls with the nearest available technician.

Although I see many instances where this technology could be used for good purposes I see this as just another possible way for "big brother" to keep an eye out. The proposed scenarios seem harmless, but imagine the various ways this same technology could be used in violation of privacy.
What if the Taxi company uses the software to track its employees once they get off the clock? Who's to say that individuals won't begin to use this to stalk celebrities, or other individuals. These are just some ideas that need some thought before we readily embrace a new technology.
