RIM has not yet even announced the BlackBerry Tour 2, but everyone seems to know it's on the way. We've seen pictures, and dummy units showing up in carrier's inventory system.
BerryScoop now reports that Verizon has a .jad file for visual voicemail on their server, and file is named vvmail_9650.jad. The existence of this file does not mean the BB Tour 2 is coming soon, but it is further evidence that the Tour 2 is probably on the way at some point. We just hope it's sooner rather than lat...read more

A forum member over at MacRumors has uncovered what looks to be benchmark results from an unannounced MacBook Pro running a with a Core i7 M 620 processor. The new MBP runs a version of Mac OS 10.6.2 (Build 10C3067). Anyone know what that is?
The MBP scored a 5260 Geekbench score and out performed all existing MacBook Pros. That's pretty impressive. I guess now would not be the time to be picking up a new MBP. ...read more

If you're looking for a case for your Palm Pre this is the one to get. We usually use side cases, but after several different brands we settled on this top case from Smartphone Experts. The top case makes it easier to remove the Pre when it's on your belt. It's not easy, but easier than the side case.
The only complaint we have is the belt clip isn't as good as it could be. It's covered in leather and so it's not as easy to remove from your belt than some other clips. Other than that we ha...read more

If you like the free Craigslist you'll appreciate Craiglist Mobile for BlackBerry's smooth experience, but you'll have to cough up $4.99 for the app. It's interesting that an app that works with a free site costs money. It's worth it though if you're a die hard Craigslist user.

The Symbian Foundation has opened up its source code so all developers can now contribute. The move will allow developers to contribute to the development of the platform. This move was probably necessary if Symbian wants to compete with Google's Android OS.
Because it is open source, Symbian can now be installed on any compatible device for FREE. This should help expand Symbian's reach worldwide. Symbian is still the world leader but the competition is coming on strong....read more

Check out this video of a Nokia 5700 smartphone running BlackBerry OS 4.6. Who knows how they got this to run, but they did. If you just look at a still shot it could be fake, but this video seems to indicate that it is in fact, real.
The video shows that some guy ported the BlackBerry Pearl 8220's build of OS 4.6 to this Nokia 5700 and got it to work. Why would anyone want to do this? Your guess is as good as mine....read more
iPhone users looking to stream TV shows from their SlingBox know too well that until now, the iPhone SlingPlayer app would not work on 3G. SlingMedia has apparently developed a new app that is optimized for 3G, and AT&T has agreed to allow the streaming on their network.
