Windows Phone 7 Series on Video

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - March 08, 2010

Microsoft’s Charlie Kindel got spontaneously interviewed by CNET's Ina Fried on a sidewalk in San Francisco. They talked about Microsoft's decision to push developers towards an entirely new platform, Windows Phones Series 7. Microsoft is pushing developers to use XNA and Silverlight to write for Windows Phone Series 7.

Kindel also gave a walk through of Windows Phone 7 which is very cool. XBOX Live integration is a part of Windows Phone 7 Series, and the focus on text is a large part of the new OS as well.

As expected they're using "gestures" which look similar to Apple's iPhone. I wonder if Apple will go after them like they've gone after HTC for patent infringement.
