Overclocking the Palm Pre

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - March 15, 2010

If you're frustrated by the sluggish nature of your Palm Pre and like to live on the edge, this video is for you. WebOS hackers have figured out a way to overclock the Palm Pre. They've been able to modify the processor speed so instead of running at 500 Mhz, the Pre's processor will run at 800 Mhz.

You can clearly see in the video what effect the new 800 MHz has on the Pre. It definitely makes the Pre more comfortable to use, although it still looks slower than the iPhone.
