eWallet 7.0 Released

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - December 02, 2009

Ilium Software has released an updated version of eWallet 7.0. With the release of eWallet 7.0 they are reshaping the idea of how customers buy software. For years there has been an idea that you buy software for your device, but this doesn't make sense to Ilium. They believe people aren't buying the software for the device, but rather for the customer. That's why with eWallet 7.0 they've completely reimagined how you buy the product.

Now, for $19.95, you can use eWallet on any device they support. No extra versions. No extra purchases. When you buy eWallet it's for you - not your device. And all existing eWallet users will be able to upgrade for just $10.00 to use eWallet on all supported devices!

On top of that they've poised eWallet for the future with some great new updates. The centerpiece of this is the new eWallet desktop software. Rewritten from the ground up, this new version of eWallet for Windows PC makes eWallet even easier to use and it looks great. More importantly, the new version provides a framework for future innovation that will let us make eWallet an even better product.

Finally, Ilium is expanding the platforms they support. As a demonstration of this, they're making a preview version of eWallet for Mac OS X available to all owners of eWallet. This advance preview lets users try eWallet out and get a taste of what we have in store for them down the road.
