T-Mobile will begin distributing an Over The Air (OTA) update for the system software on the Sidekick LX, according to a recent report on Brighthand. The update is scheduled to begin this week. The update will add a number of new features to the sidekick, mostly related to multimedia.
The update will automatically be sent to each device OTA by T-Mobile. After the update is installed, these additional features will be available:
Record video with the built-in camera
Play audio or video from the microSD card or an email attachment
Use stereo Bluetooth headsets, hands-free car kits, etc.
